Cookie Policy

Our cookie policy and how we use them

Last updated: 27 July 2026

This page explains the cookies and similar storage BlixtAI uses, and what each one is for.

We use no advertising cookies, no third-party tracking, and no cross-site profiling. Everything below is either required to sign you in or remembers a preference you set yourself.

What we use

Strictly necessary

These keep you signed in and keep the service secure. The site does not work without them, so they are not optional.

  • Session cookies — set when you sign in, so that each page you request knows who you are. They are removed when you sign out.
  • Bot protection — our sign-up and contact forms use a challenge that may set storage of its own to tell a person from an automated script.

Preferences

These remember choices you made, so you do not have to make them again. Clearing them costs you nothing but the setting.

  • theme — whether you chose the light or dark appearance.
  • lang — your chosen language.
  • sidebar_state — whether the application sidebar is expanded or collapsed.
  • last-selected-team — the workspace you were last working in, so you return to it.
  • cookie_consent_status— kept in your browser’s local storage to record your answer to the cookie banner, so we stop asking.

Managing them

You can accept or reject non-essential storage from the banner shown on your first visit. You can also delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings, and set your browser to refuse them — though if you refuse the strictly necessary ones you will not be able to sign in.

Changes

If the storage we use changes we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
